The Antarctic token (AAL) is promoted by the Antarctic Lands Organisation (ALO), which has chosen to use blockchain technology. The intention of using blockchain was to secure a modern, decentralised, transparent, open global currency resistant to censorship and manipulation by centralised financial institutions. The token is a BEP 20 type token which will use the Binance Smart Chain (BSC).

The Binance Smart Chain was chosen for its reliability as it possesses many of the desirable features of the Ethereum network. In addition, the network offers significant transaction costs and scalability advantages. There will be a total of 250,000,000 AAL total supply, with the initial value of 1 AAL token worth 0.1 USDT.

The Antarctic (AAL) Airdrop will begin on the 15th of September with a free allotment of 1% of the initial offering as a reward.
