Los Angeles, California Jan 24, 2024 (Issuewire.com) - Touch The Heart Productions, LLC. has proudly announced that today marks the 40th birthday of its Founder and CEO, Marcus D. Spencer. Known to many as BIG SPENCE in the entertainment industry, the legendary filmmaker and actor is a native of Oakland, California, and was born on January 24th in the year 1984. The artist has been increasingly successful with age and over the last couple of years, he has made a significant impact on the entertainment industry in a number of ways. BIG SPENCE recently finished his 2023 in style with the successful release of three movies that he directed himself.
"I use the money I make working on bigger projects, to fund my own projects with an aim to give others an opportunity that they may not get otherwise." Said Marcus D. Spencer in a recent interview. "My goal is to be a blessing to people in hopes that they will return the favor by being a blessing to others." He added. According to the artist, he doesn't believe in working alone and he heavily relies on the ideas of his wife, who also does the catering for all of his projects. BIG SPENCE also expressed his respect for the expertise of others and said that he is never too shy to ask for help whenever it is needed on any particular project.
Without any signs of slowing down at 40, the artist and filmmaker also take great pride in teaching in high schools, creating and acting in films, coaching high school sports, and most importantly, raising an amazing family. Despite releasing 3 of his own film projects in 2023, the artist also continues to work as an actor in projects of others as he worked with a number of artists and filmmakers last year. Some of the people he worked with in 2023 include; Andrew Divoff (Air Force One), Vernon Wells (Commando), Kevin Sorbo, (God's Not Dead) Tom Arnold (True Lies), Tom Proctor (Guardians of the Galaxy), and Costas Mandylor (Saw) to name a few.
For 2024, BIG SPENCE has a few films ready to go into production, and he has already been booked on a few projects. His company Touch The Heart Productions and Uncia Films are already in the post-production of their first 2024 film titled 'A Murder in Oakland', which will be released later this year. His first 2024 release will be 'Camp Pleasant Lake', which was directed by Tom Walton and is set to hit theaters on February 27, 2024. The legendary artist shares the screen with Bonnie Aarons (The Nun) and Jonathan Lipnicki (Jerry Maguire) in this film, and he plays the character of a disgruntled camp attendee called Brian, who is looking for a thrill.
The 'Dos Palos High School' teacher or the 'Straight Outta Oakland' director, BIG SPENCE is a man of a multidimensional personality. His 2023 movies, which he directed himself include a romantic comedy about couples' therapy titled 'Who Needs It?', along with a psychological thriller about mind control titled 'State Of Consciousness', and another thriller about revenge titled 'Tormented Revenge'. These films are now available in stores and streaming platforms but can be watched free on TubiTV.
