Born and raised in his beloved Tucson, Dr. Sanchez-Navarro graduated from Salpointe Catholic High School and then attended Pepperdine University in California. At Pepperdine, he participated in multiple research projects in the Department of Biology before graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. 

Thereafter, Dr. Sanchez-Navarro received his medical degree from the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine, a highly ranked program and prominent medical school, scoring in the 99th percentile on national medical school exams. He subsequently completed a very competitive and rigorous six-year program in plastic surgery, training under accomplished plastic surgeons at Wright State University. This specialized education encompassed advanced aesthetic treatments and cosmetic surgery of the entire body. 

Part of Dr. Sanchez-Navarro's background training included neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery, orthopedic surgery, and oral facial surgery. Becoming intimately familiar with all aspects of human anatomy, his training has given him the skills to treat patients who present with head-to-toe cosmetic concerns. This allows him to aesthetically synchronize and harmonize with the whole body.

Because of his academic and professional accomplishments, Dr. Sanchez-Navarro was honored with the respected title of Chief Resident of Plastic Surgery in his final year at Wright State University. He has also received many academic achievement awards, as well as notable scholarships from the National Aesthetic Surgery Society.

Throughout his schooling, Dr. Sanchez-Navarro has been a vital part of several research projects that have gone on to be published in national journals such as Orthopedics. He has had the distinct pleasure of presenting his findings on recent advances and issues in plastic surgery at the Ohio Valley Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has also presented research findings at the University of Iowa and Pepperdine University. 

Driven to help patients attain their desired transformation, the doctor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, which is the only specialty recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties to provide all aspects of cosmetic surgery.

Before moving back to Tucson, Dr. Sanchez-Navarro had a successful cosmetic surgery practice in Denver, Colorado. Within three years of practicing there, he was considered one of the foremost surgeons in the community and received the award of Top Doctor. 

Despite the popular practice in Denver, Dr. Sanchez-Navarro always knew he would return to Tucson when he started a family. After marrying the love of his life and having a child, he decided the time was right to open another successful cosmetic practice in Tucson.
