Gentle Wellness Center’s Cryoskin Facial Treatment harnesses the natural biological processes of the body to slim, tone, and smooth the skin of the face. Using a combination of alternating heat and cold delivered through a wand-like machine, the client’s blood vessels are constricted and dilated, increasing blood flow. This increase in blood flow pushes more oxygen through the body, thereby boosting collagen production, shrinking pores, killing stubborn fat cells, and tightening the skin.
Generally speaking, Cryoskin Facial Treatment is broken up into three phases depending on the size of the area being treated. In the first phase, the skin is exposed to heat for anywhere from two to four minutes. During the second phase, the skin is exposed to cold for anywhere from twelve to fifteen minutes. Lastly, the skin is allowed to relax, giving the natural processes time to play out.
