Sweet Leaf Madison Capital (SLMC) announces the expansion of its short-term secured loan programs for seed-to-sale cannabis businesses.

Denver, United States - August 24, 2023 /PressCable/ —
SLMC continues to strengthen its financing of established and emerging cannabis businesses at all supply chain stages. The expansion into secured senior loans introduces borrowers to senior secured cannabis business loans of up to $15 million over up to four years.

As an industry leader in seed-to-sale funding, SLMC is able to offer these loans with up to 75 percent loan-to-value (LTV) based on existing assets and guarantor support. The combination of asset lending with guarantor assurances supports the higher loan amounts cannabis businesses need to finance immediate expenses and medium-term growth.
SLMC offers senior secured loans alongside cannabis equipment and real estate loans. High-LTV equipment loans range between $150,000 to $15 million over 12 to 48 months. Tailored real estate loans start at $250,000 and finance the construction, purchase, and improvement of growing facilities, greenhouses, processing facilities, dispensaries, and on-site consumption venues.
Senior secured loans are more affordable for small and medium cannabis businesses that rely on low-cost, flexible lending options to maintain profitability.
Sweet Leaf Madison Capital is a specialized cannabis lender - the union of cannabis direct lender Sweet Leaf Capital and investment firm Madison Ventures+. The firm is headed by Chairman & CEO Bryan E. Gordon, collaborating with a network of vendors, including design-build and automation consultants, LED grow lighting suppliers, distributors, extraction tech companies, and confectioners.
The expansion follows the closing of a $100 million debt facility that supports SLMC's asset-based lending capabilities. The debt facility was made available by a leading NYC asset manager who, along with SLMC, could increase the debt facility to $200 million.
According to a spokesperson for the firm, "Our senior secured term loans offer you the ability to manage your cash flow and obtain the critical financing needed to operate and grow your cannabis business."
